Research & Cure
Cancer has become a plague globally that comes in many forms, many of which can be prevented, many of which, can be treated and cured.
Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer kills. There is no cure. Treatment, at best, prolongs life but sadly, not for long. Life expectancy for only 25% of those diagnosed generally does not exceed 5 years. According to statistics provided by Cancer.gov, this year alone (2016) there were an estimated 246,660 new cases of breast cancer that will kill a projected 40,450 individuals.
Of all the money raised, only a meager 2% is allocated for Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer. For nearly two decades, the effort has been concentrated on prevention and early detection. 30% of those 232,670 people diagnosed with breast cancer WILL metastasize and DIE. Please help us end this death sentence!
